Bill began his legal career in 1990 as a criminal defense attorney in the Kansas public defender system and has tried over 30 felony jury trials. In 1997, he found bankruptcy law and fell in love with it. Mr. Turner believes helping people get relief from crushing debt and offering financial guidance is personally rewarding and has focused his legal career solely on bankruptcy since 2003. After being a sole proprietor for 20 years, Bill is very pleased to join W M Law where he still practices bankruptcy law. In addition to his experience with bankruptcy law, Bill served for several years as the Kansas state chairperson for NACBA, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
Bill and his wife, Valorie, were married in 1993 and have two daughters, Hailey and Emily. Bill enjoys playing poker with his friends and disc golf. Bill obtained his BA in Psychology in 1987 and his JD in 1990, both from the University of Kansas.
